This 1970 Dodge Challenger has just been placed for sale on consignment by the current local owner. This car is finished in B5 blue with a white vinyl top, original blue interior with new carpet, no rust, original panels except trunk, which was professionally replaced, extensive documentation, $35K+ in receipts from Mark Worman at Graveyard Carz in Springfield Oregon, including engine rebuild and detail, transmission rebuild and detail , rear axle assembly rebuild and restore rear axle assembly, front suspension and steering, wheels restoration, and replaced tires, radiator rebuild, wiper system rebuild, brake booster and master cylinder restore/replace, exhaust system replacement and addition of Accurate OE with Tips, fuel system overhaul, new right hand outside mirror, dash board, full sound deadening in interior and rust prevention in engine bay.
The car started life as a 383 “N” code car, as you will see in the on the fender tag. However, the engine was swapped out with a 440hp engine sometime back in 1988 when it had roughly 21K miles on it. The current 440hp is however date correct, having an “F” stamped onto the badge. The 727 automatic transmission backing the 440 is numbers matching and original to the car, with 8 3/4 Posi rear end.
